Who is Cheyenne Jones?

Hi! My name is Cheyenne Jones and I have always been an incredibly passionate advocate for the livestock industry. I am a third-generation cattle and livestock producer with proficient knowledge of the beef and pork industries, spending most of my life exhibiting livestock at the national level.

I attending high school in a very urban area, so I knew when I graduated that I wanted to get back to my rural, agricultural roots. I moved back to Oklahoma to attend Redlands Community College from 2014-2016, where I was also a member of the Livestock Judging Team. I graduated with my associate’s degree in animal science in 2016 and transferred to Oklahoma State University. I graduated from OSU in 2018 with bachelor’s degrees in Animal Science and Agricultural Communications. I also received my Master’s Degree in Strategic Communications from the University of Oklahoma in 2022.

My current position is the Marketing & Public Relations Manager for a nationally-recognized nonprofit organization, the National Rural Water Association (NRWA), where we ensure safe and clean drinking water for all of Rural America. I manage all aspects of our communications efforts, including but not limited to, print, digital, social media, event marketing, and numerous other forms of public outreach. I am spearheading a marketing campaign to foster growth in the workforce development of our industry. Since the beginning of my employment at NRWA, I have made it my personal mission to re-brand the association and create specific marketing plans and attainable goals for the future.

My fiancé, Logan, and I manage a show pig operation and a small cattle operation in southern Louisiana. We have recently started a farm-to-table meat business, selling farm-raised pork and beef. We spend most of our time in the barn, pasture or hanging out with our adorable Corgi, Gracie.
